It depends on the occasion. Are you doing the gig for a friend or family member? Will it cost you anything besides time to do the gig? Your lack of experience probably can’t land the gigs you want yet, so it’s important to grow your skill set and gain experiences wherever and whenever you can. Charge what you feel is fair for both parties. Increase your cost as you build your skills and brand.
